Alice is immediately recognized as Ellen's loveable mom Lois Morgan on THE ELLEN SHOW and Corky Sherwood's (Faith Ford) mom Bootsie on the award winning series MURPHY BROWN. She also played moms on SEVENTH HEAVEN, FULL HOUSE and HOME FIRES.
For many years, Alice appeared on daytime television with roles on ONE LIFE TO LIVE, THE EDGE OF NIGHT and ANOTHER WORLD.
She starred in 12 television movies and guest starred on numerous dramatic and comedic television shows including NYPD BLUE, ER, JUDGING AMY and JUST SHOOT ME.
On the big screen, Alice starred in PRIVATE BENJAMIN, BEING THERE, MASS APPEAL, THE BIG PICTURE and BLIND DATE.
Her performance in "Eminent Domain" at the Matrix Theatre in Los Angeles earned Alice a DramaLogue Award.
Alice is the proud mom of two talented sons, one a musician/painter and the other a playwrite.
