
Danny Woodburn is a versatile entertainer on stage, film, television including the comedy club circuit and has become a fixture of American television with frequent appearances on some of today’s most popular shows.
Danny has had over 100 television appearances which include recurring roles on 7 series. Most notably Danny is known for Mickey Abbott, the volatile but lovable friend of Kramer’s, on the Emmy award-winning, series Seinfeld. His character on Seinfeld was an important role for Danny, in the sense that the writing and portrayal of the character is positive and non-stereotypical.
On the big screen Danny has appeared in ten feature films and received critical praise for his performances in Death to Smoochy and Things You Can Tell Just By Looking At Her.
On a more personal note Danny was born in Philadelphia. He graduated from Temple University where he received the Outstanding Alumni Achievement Award of 2001. He is a supporter of Little People’s Research Fund and forever thanks Dr. Steven Kopits for his surgical expertise and research that has allowed Danny to pursue his dream. He has two very big brothers and his Mom, handles all his press in his home town. He married his love of seven years actress-playwright Amy Buchwald on September 7, 1998
