 Daytime Emmy Award-nominated Ty Treadway is the engaging co-host of SoapTalk, the soap-themed lifestyle show that airs daily on SOAPnet.
The youngest of seven children, Ty was born in Trenton, New Jersey. He attended Rider University on an athletic scholarship and later transferred to the College of New Jersey, where he graduated with a degree in accounting.
While working for the New Jersey State Legislature as an accountant and a computer systems engineer, Ty competed in and won the "Mr. Natural Pennsylvania" bodybuilding title. He subsequently moved to New York to pursue a modeling and acting career, appearing in GQ Magazine, and working in both theater and commercials.
Ty then headed west to Hollywood, where he landed roles on the television series Just Shoot Me and Ally McBeal. He also worked in several independent films including co-producing and starring in Or Forever Hold Your Peace, a dark comedy about friendship, family and religion.
Ty is also well known for his role as the handsome and enigmatic Dr. Colin MacIver on ABC's One Life to Live. When his character was killed off, Ty returned to Llanview in the form of the mysterious Dr. Troy MacIver, Colin's identical twin brother!
Ty and his lovely wife Monica welcomed a new addition to their family with the birth of their daughter Samantha Raine earlier this year.
