James Horan has made a name for himself in television as well as feature films. In his successful career which has spanned over two decades James has always found time to return to the stage.
Daytime television fans recall his memorable turns as wealthy cad 'Clay Alden' on Loving, sexy villain 'Creed Kelly' on All My Children and Brett Madison on General Hospital on ABC. Proctor & Gamble Productions of The Edge of Night, Guiding Light and Another World, along with The Young and the Restless on CBS.
The actor's prolific resume includes Warner Bros. Civil War epic Gods and Generals, Counter Measures, and the undead hero in Vampire Ressurection. You can see James, this fall, opposite Edward Furlong in Twentieth Century Fox's thriller The Visitation.
Television movie credits include Star Trek Enterprise: Broken Bow and The Haunting of Seacliff Inn. James had a recurring role on the Star Trek series, Enterprise and has guest-starred on all the other Trek series including Star Trek: Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager. James also had recurring roles on Zorro and Hunter. His primetime work includes diverse roles in Charmed, Skin, Homeland Security, Walker, Texas Ranger, High Tide, Melrose Place and V.I.P., to name a few. Highlander fans remember his vivid portrayal of the evil immortal 'Grayson' from the "Band of Brothers" episode in the first season of the show.
James has appeared on-stage throughout the US, as well as Europe. In addition to regional theatre work in plays and musicals, he starred in the title role of an original American musical adaptation of Phantom of the Opera, which toured the UK, and caused one reviewer to comment, "he could give Michael Crawford a run for his money." As a singer, James has performed his own brand of cabaret in New York and Los Angeles clubs, as well as in various other venues in the US and abroad.
He frequently lends his voice to CD-Rom games and his characters can be heard in over 34 titles. As a voice-over artist, James is a favorite choice of advertisers for television and radio commercials. James was a series regular in the animated series, Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles.
