 Kari Wuhrer joined the cast of "General Hospital" in February 2005 as FBI Agent Reese Marshall.
Wuhrer was a dedicated student, attending New York University, Marymount Manhattan and Columbia University. She studied briefly at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and Wooster School of Dramatic Arts, and worked in commercials and films while attending school.
Her television credits include "Sliders," "Remote Control" on MTV, "Beverly Hills 90210" and "Class of '96." In addition she has appeared in numerous feature films, including WB's "Eight Legged Freaks," "Prophecy IV & V" and "Hellraiser 7: Deader and The Prey." The transition from science fiction movies to a network daytime drama has been a big change for Wuhrer, as "General Hospital" is her first role in the genre. Beyond her acting talents, she has also released a CD, "Shiny," which is available online.
In her spare time, Wuhrer enjoys spending time with her husband, James Scura, and their son, Enzo. To keep herself in physical condition, she regularly visits the gym and does bioenergetics, a cross between yoga and breath work. She is also an avid supporter of cancer foundations and smarter child rearing.
