Stephen Wozniak portrays ‘Frankie’ in the true-crime independent feature film CHAOS. The film was inspired by Wes Craven’s classic, LAST HOUSE IN THE LEFT and was directed by David DeFalco. 'Frankie' is a brutal, erratic and disenfranchised character, one in which Stephen utilizes his considerable skill as an actor, calling on the deepest recesses of darkness to play him. As prime suspect ‘Stan Montrose’ Stephen recently co-starred opposite Jonathan LaPaglia on the critically acclaimed CBS police drama, THE DISTRICT. The Discovery Channel-Animal Planet original film HOPE RANCH, which co-starred Stephen as the brazen criminal ‘Waxy,’ was the third highest rated project for the network. The cast also includes Bruce Boxleitner , Gail O’Grady and Barry Corbin. HOPE RANCH is the inspiring story of three angry urban teenagers in the juvenile detention system who are given a second chance by a tough ex-cop on a cattle ranch. Stephen played the role of the alien ‘Latia,’ in the STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE EMMY® award winning episode "Two Days and Two Nights" on UPN. The episode was directed by STAR TREK films and STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION series star Michael Dorn. Stephen's other feature film credits include complex, diverse roles in LUXURY OF LOVE with Luke Perry and veteran comedian Marty Ingels; the harrowing crime thriller, THE ART OF A BULLETT, opposite Hawthorne James and 70’s superstar Leif Garrett ; and the Broadway-based comedy by Charles Busch, PSYCHO BEACH PARTY, with Beth Broderick, Thomas Gibson and Amy Adams. On stage Stephen gave dynamic performances in THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL, IN THE SHADOW OF THE GLEN, BECKET, CORPSE!, TOUR, THE NUTCRACKER, and NOTHING SACRED, to name a few, in such venues as The Studio Theatre, The Baltimore Museum of Art, The Stella Adler Theatre and the renowned Theatre Project. Stephen has also done work in national commercials, music videos, industrials, voice-overs, performance art, museum films, live music shows, public television projects and as a radio show. He studied at Johns Hopkins University and graduated from The Maryland Institute with a dual degree in fine/performance art and art history. He writes fiction and is currently at work on a screenplay about the life of musician David Bowie. |
