With his teen idol looks and charming demeanor, Rob Pinkston is one of 2005's hottest new breakout stars. Television viewers can currently see Rob on MTV's Punk'd as Ashton Kutcher's new young field agent. Recent episodes have found Rob "punking" the likes of Joss Stone, Serena Williams and Zach Braff. Over on Nickelodeon, Rob has amassed a huge fan following with his hilarious role as 'Coconut Head' on Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. Rob actually landed the part on his birthday (in January 2004) and recently completed filming the second season. The Atlanta native is currently in Oregon filming a starring role as 'Maynard Keyes' in The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang, a new comedy from Keven Spacey's Trigger Street Productions and Crazy Dream Productions. The film, co-starring Jeremy Sumpter, is a comic tale of several groups who are all searching for proof of the legendary Sasquatch creature. Rob will be seen later this year as 'Chuck Overton' in the family feature film The Derby Stallion (with Zac Efron and Colton James). Rob began acting at the age of 13 and quickly booked two commercials for Six Flags theme parks. He made his feature film debut in The Metro Chase with Jon Cryer and Tara Lipinski. Additional film credits include Open Spaces, Undercover Kids and Plays Well With Others. Rob resides with his parents Patti and Bill in Southern California. He loves to play guitar, is an avid gamer, and enjoys body-boarding in the summer and snow-boarding in winter. While he has many friends in the industry, Rob still counts among his closest pals the kids he went to grade school with. |
