George Caroll is an internationally acclaimed Hollywood Hair Stylist, an award winning beauty product designer and a consultant to the entertainment and professional beauty industry. In addition to making Celebrities shine with his trade mark "Studio Style Look", George also designs hair styles for TV and movies. Most notably the Geometric pointed sideburns for the crew of the Enterprise in the classic Star Trek TV Series. "Everyone is born with a hidden hair style, it only needs a custom cut and shaping to unlock its natural beauty. Once you find the ideal length your hair will almost style itself. And by simply adjusting the shape, length and color you can give it a seasonal change and fresh new look. Your hair is as unique as you are," says George. Armed with his knowledge of hair styling George developed a new styling brush for at home use. The award winning Hair Flex Studio Styling Brush represents the first major design and function improvement in the basic hair brush in 100 years. It is actually three hair styling brushes in one designed for all hair styles and styling effects. It’s a Paddle Brush, Vent Styling Brush and Straightening Brush with an Air-Flow Net and built-in Styling Comb. In 1970 George started HRX (Hair Research X) to test new salon hair products for major professional beauty companies including: (Helene Curtis, L’Oreal, Clairol, Revlon, Redken, The Bobby Brush Company and Owen Labs). Blow dryer, electric curlers, thermal styling irons, vent styling brushes and high lift hair color all passed through Caroll’s hair styling studio before finding there way into salons and homes around the world. George then developed his advanced salon products for at home hair care and styling. George says, "Clean, shiny healthy looking hair is the starting point and key element to a beautiful hair style." In 2002, George revolutionized the world of Salon products by introducing the first Heat Energized “self-warming” shampoo and conditioner – a modern version of the classic Hot Oil Treatment using new poly-silicone and self-warming exothermic technology. George was the first stylist to do hair styling make-over's on the Regis Philbin morning programs in LA. Over the years he has also appeared on home shopping TV shows in America, Europe, Canada. George Caroll is also a member of SAG and AFTRA. In the mid 70’s George organized the first national Style-A-Thon for his friend actor Danny Thomas founder of St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Together with hair stylists across America he raised over one million dollars. In his spare time, George creates Digital Portraits of unusual complexity inspired from everyday objects. His photo art has become a valued part of many collections around the world. His friend Regis Philbin, an early admirer of his work, gave George his nom deplume "Captain Polaroid". |
