Amy Bruckner stars as the tough cookie Pim Diffy (Phil's little sister) on the hit Disney Channel series Phil of the Future. "I love playing Pim," says Amy. "She gets to say what everyone else is thinking!" Amy began performing professionally as a fourth grader in Atlanta, Georgia, and upon moving to LA just before her 11th birthday, she quickly landed guest starring roles in the television series ER, Judging Amy, American Dreams, Ally McBeal and The West Wing. She had a recurring role on Oliver Beene and currently recurs as Zoe, one of Dewey's "special friends" on Malcolm in the Middle. Amy also lends her voice to the Disney Channel animated series American Dragon: Jake Long. On the show, Amy stars as Haley Long, Jake's 8-year-old sister who seems to excel in everything, including mastering her dragon powers faster than Jake! Amy can also be seen opposite Martin Lawrence in the 20th Century Fox comedy Rebound. She plays Annie, the school's sweet, nerdy journalist who grows and gets cooler with the basketball team. Amy plays Brandy, an adult alien in a child's body who is head of the judiciary committee in the SciFi Channel original movie They Are Among Us. Born in Conifer, Colorado, this busy 8th grader currently lives in Los Angeles with her parents, older sister Annye, and an Australian cattle dog named Tilly. In her free time, she loves to sing all kinds of music, especially rock and jazz, and is a fervent tap dancer. She also enjoys swimming, mountain biking and curling up with a good book. |
