Steven Williams has been a familiar and favorite face to American and International audiences since his portrayal of the tough yet compassionate Captain Adam Fuller on the critically acclaimed FOX series 21 Jump Street. Since then, Mr. Williams has been busy lending his talent to a myriad of films and TV series.

He started out on the Chicago stage giving dynamic performances in Taming of the Shrew, Purlie and Medal of Honor Rag among others to rave reviews. He was twice nominated for the prestigious Joseph Jefferson Award for his performances in Joplin and Cinderella Brown.

Complementing his stage credits were diverse roles in 27 feature films such as Cooley High, Doctor Detroit, Corrina, Corrina, Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday, Twilight Zone: The Movie, Missing in Action II: The Beginning, and the now classic The Blues Brothers. His compelling performance as FBI Agent Paul Rickman earned Mr. Williams 3 Best Actor Awards in 2005 for the independent thriller Graves End. Mr. Williams has had a regular or recurring role on 11 television series including The Bernie Mac Show, Stargate SG1, Disney Presents: The 100 Lives of Black Jack Savage, The Equalizer and Legacy. His performance of the title role of Russell “Linc” Lincoln on Showtime’s original series, Linc’s earned him a NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series. He portrayed Detective August Brooks in the action, adventure drama LA Heat and, of course, Mr. Williams has gained further international appeal as the enigmatic Mr. X on Fox’s mega-hit series The X-Files. For his performance as X Mr. Williams was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Ensemble Performance in a Drama Series.

He has appeared in 17 television movies and has a long list of guest starring roles on episodic television. Recently he was seen guest starring as Sgt Parnell opposite Tony Shaloub on USA's Monk.

Mr. Williams has 4 television series on the air, every day, in over 65 countries. When the busy actor is not in front of the camera, Mr. Williams is an active supporter of a variety of youth-oriented causes and organizations.
