EPISODE SYNOPSIS: "LING LING" was written by Jerry Davis. Darrin hopes to bolster the confidence of Walter "Wally" Ames, who is Darrin's handsome photographer. Unfortunately, Ling-Ling wants to remain in human form, and to that end she begins using her feline wiles on Wally. When the campaign wraps, Darrin invites the Tates and Wally to a victory celebration at his home. Wally is so intrigued by Ling Ling that he brings her along. Samantha's efforts to make Ling Ling give up Wally fail.

SERIES DESCRIPTION: Bewitched, one of the most beloved and imitated sitcoms in television history, aired on ABC from 1964 to 1972. An immediate hit, the show was the highest rated of all new series during its first season, and was consistently in the Nielsen Ratings Top Twelve for its first five seasons. The series premiered on September 17, 1964, on ABC

Set in Westport, Connecticut, Bewitched chronicles the comedic misadventures of Samantha and Darrin Stephens, a young married couple played by Elizabeth Montgomery and Dick York (after the fifth season York was replaced by Dick Sargent). The Stephens are an ordinary suburban couple – she's a very attractive, charming housewife and stay-at-home mom, he's a Madison Avenue advertising executive – with one important caveat: Samantha is a witch. Bewitched can be seen on TV Land.

JEREMY SLATE RELECTS: "Elizabeth Montgomery was very talented, gracious and a joy to work with. She made all the guest stars feel welcome on the set. This was my first comedy so I enjoyed it. After playing characters that die in so many other projects, this episode was really fun to do!"

"Doing this episode was like a reunion for me. I worked with Dick York previously in "The White Slavers" episode of THE UNTOUCHABLES. (I died in that episode!) David White and I appeared on stage with James Whitmore and Sally Kellerman in Enemy of the People, an Arthur Miller adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's political drama. It was really nice to work with these two talented actors and wonderful people again."
